The
Office of Planning and Development has as a primary function
to bring in different resources, especially economic
resources in order to support the programs of the
Evangelical Seminary of Puerto Rico (ESPR). For this purpose
it performs fundraising activities among different sectors
that may assist the institution.
Beginning
in 2006, and for the next three years the ESPR will be
involved in a special fundraising initiative in the form of
an Endowment Fund (Fondo Permanente) to affirm the ministry
of the institution.

Endowment
Fund of the Evangelical Seminary of Puerto Rico

The
Evangelical Seminary of Puerto Rico has contributed to the
development and growth of the evangelical church in the
island of Puerto Rico, working toward the development of
leaders with a high sense of ecclesiastic responsibility and
faithfulness to God. Its ministry points toward the
academic, theological, and pastoral excellence.
In order
to keep in vanguard of the demands of today’s changing
world, the ESPR has established a fundraising initiative to
affirm and further develop our current seven programs, which
are: New Testament, Old Testament, Systematic Theology,
Puerto Rican Theology, Congregational Studies, Bible, and
Reformed Theology. We also would like to establish a
Scholarship Fund to financially support future pastoral
leaders in their Master or Doctoral studies.
The
economic goal of the Endowment Fund is $2,000,000.00 to be
collected in three years, beginning in 2006. We invite you
to be part of this commitment to support the academic,
theological, and pastoral task of the ESPR. All donations
that we will receive from churches, companies, and
individuals will contribute to the institutional development
and will represent a source for self-support.
If you
would like to support our Endowment Fund, please, print and
complete the
Pledge for Economic Commitment, and send it via
fax or by mail (Please, see Contact Information).
